Islamabad, Mar 11 2025: New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has announced a 15-member squad for the five-match T20I series against Pakistan, scheduled from March 16 to 26.

The star-studded squad includes seven players from New Zealand’s Champions Trophy 2025 campaign, with all-rounder Michael Bracewell leading the side.

Bracewell expressed his enthusiasm for the role, acknowledging the efforts of Mitchell Santner, who previously captained the white-ball side.

He emphasized the need to maintain a positive team environment and highlighted Pakistan’s strength as a formidable short-format team, known for its power and pace.

Senior spinner Ish Sodhi returns to the white-ball squad alongside pacer Ben Sears, who missed the Champions Trophy due to injury.

To manage player workload, pacers Kyle Jamieson and Will O’Rourke will feature in the first three T20Is, while Matt Henry, the tournament’s leading wicket-taker, will play the last two matches.
