Islamabad, Aug 27: According to a report by market research firm Canalys, the fastest-growing brand for smartphones and wireless earbuds right now is Nothing, a British phone manufacturer that just introduced its first device three years ago.
As a tiny business, your stats may appear exceptional, but the growth is still astounding. Nothing saw a staggering 693% increase in smartphones in Q2 2024 when compared to the same quarter the previous year. Nothing’s smartphone sales have increased by 246% year over year in the first half of 2024. As a result, in H1 2024, Nothing will expand the fastest in the UK, Saudi Arabia, and India.
In Q2 2024, the company’s wireless earbuds division had an even more remarkable 769% YoY increase. The figures increased by 331% in the first half. In Q2 2024, Nothing was the wireless earbuds brand that grew the fastest in the US, France, Spain, the Netherlands, and Italy. The Phone (2a) Plus, the most recent offering from Nothing, is an upgrade on the original Nothing Phone (2a). Along with a significantly faster chipset (the Dimensity 7350 Pro), it also has an upgraded front camera (from 32MP to 50MP) with additional features including 4K video recording. Given that it is using the same 5,000 mAh battery, the 50W wired charging shouldn’t significantly alter the 45W rating.
