Islamabad, Sep 5: The Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (OP&HRD) oversees the Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC) Under G-to-G agreements, which enables labor export and emigration.
In accordance with the National Internship Program (NIP), OEC provides recent graduates with paid internships. Postgraduates, offering professional experience and useful skills in a fast-paced setting.
According to an official source who spoke with APP, internships are currently being offered in the following fields: discipline and positions; management sciences; information technology and computer science; planning and development; finance, accounting, and economics; and discipline and positions (01 Position). He stated that there is a chance of a six-month extension after the first six-month term of the internship, depending on output and the accomplishment of program goals.
The duration of internships is limited to a year, with specific eligibility requirements and monthly compensation. Candidates must be graduates of a HEC-accredited institution and meet certain requirements. Graduate (14 years of education), Post Graduate (16 years of education), and Specialization after Post-Graduation (18 years of study) are the fees for each department.
Applicants who have earned degrees from recently awarded HEC-accredited universities. They will be qualified for the OEC Internship Program with a minimum 3.0 CGPA or 70% of the exam, providing their credentials are found in the designated fields of study.
Candidates must be no older than thirty years old, with age determined as of the application deadline. Both men and women may apply. The general terms and conditions state that interns are in charge of making their own travel and laptop arrangements for the duration of the program.
Full-time enrollment in the program, adherence to OEC’s established guidelines, and laws, such as those pertaining to official business hours and confidentiality obligations. At the time of the interview, applicants must provide original paperwork as well as certified copies of their degrees and certificates from HEC-accredited universities.
If any data submitted by the candidate is shown to be fake, their candidacy will be rejected, and at any point, a lawsuit could be filed. The hiring procedure may be terminated at any time by the appropriate authority without cause or explanation.
The information submitted on the application form will be checked upon an offer of appointment; there will be no TA or DA for the written exam or interview. Interested parties can obtain the application form from OEC’s website to apply for the internship program.
www.oec.gov.pk is the official website. Applications must be completed and sent to the Deputy at the OEC Head Office in Islamabad. Director Administration, by September 19, 2024 at the latest. Applications that are incomplete or that are submitted after the advertisement’s deadline will not be thought about.
