ISLAMABAD, AUGUST 8: Today at the Finance Division, the business delegation was accompanied by Turkiye Ömer Bolat, the trade minister, who called on Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb.

The finance minister extended a cordial welcome to Bolat and his group and highlighted the strong and enduring ties of fraternity between the two countries, which hold promise for future growth in bilateral trade and economic ties.
Bolat emphasized President Erdoğan and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s shared resolve to fortify bilateral relations, with an emphasis on boosting investment and commerce. He mentioned the services, health, education, medical, and fashion industries as being important ones for possible investment.

In order to boost investor confidence, he also suggested steps to facilitate investment for Turkish businesses and suggested boosting flight connectivity between Pakistan and Turkey in order to encourage more economic interchange.

The two ministers reaffirmed their commitment to fortifying their bilateral ties and increasing trade volume. Senator Aurangzeb gave the delegation his word that Pakistan would continue to facilitate investment by reducing red tape and promoting ease of doing business.
