PCB Chairman Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi has put a halt to the announcement of Pakistan’s squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup, scheduled to be held in the United States and West Indies.
Reports suggest Naqvi’s dissatisfaction with the selection process, citing irregularities and a lack of regular meetings of the selection committee.
Naqvi expressed disappointment over the situation and insisted that the squad won’t be revealed until the selection process is properly concluded.
He has called for a meeting of the selection committee to address the issues. The original plan was to unveil the squad on May 24, in line with the deadline for all teams to finalize their World Cup squads by May 25.
