Islamabad, Sep 12: The Pakistan Earthquake Today Magnitude is 5.7 on the Richter’s scale.

The Punjab cities rocked by the earthquake included Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Kamalia, Khanewal, Bhalwal, Chiniot, Hafizabad, Toba Tek Singh, Gujarat, Sargodha and Jhang among other cities.

The quake, which occurred at 2:45 PM local time, caused panic among residents, with many rushing out of their homes and offices in fear.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) was cited by Geo News to state that the epicentre of the earthquake was located approximately 10 kilometers below the surface in the southwest of the Punjab province, close to the Dera Ghazi Khan district.
