ISLAMABAD, AUGUST 12: In order to assist Pakistanis wishing to take advantage of the amnesty declared by the Dubai administration, the Pakistan Embassy in the United Arab Emirates has requested that the Ministry of Interior (MoI) permit NADRA and immigration and passport office officials to operationalize their portals.
The opening of the Passport and NADRA sections in Pakistan on August 17 for Dubai was announced in a letter to the MoI by the Pakistani ambassador in the United Arab Emirates.
The UAE government has declared a two-month grace period during which infringers might have their fines remitted. The first day of the amnesty period is September 1, 2024. The amnesty gives the expatriate population a chance to get their visa status regularized in compliance with the applicable UAE rules.
As a result, a sizable number of people from the Pakistani community are going to the Pakistani Embassy and Consulate General to obtain consular services, such as attestation, MRP, and NADRA. They will be able to take advantage of the amnesty program that the UAE government has announced if their paperwork are processed promptly.
In light of the aforementioned, the Embassy and Consulate General will continue to be open on Saturdays to offer MRP, NADRA, and other consular services. The embassy has requested permission from DG IMPASS and NADRA to enable its UAE employees to operationalize their portals on August 17, 2024.
