Islamabad, Oct 27: Pakistan Inaugurates Pavilion at 31st Yangling Agricultural High-Tech Expo. With the theme New Quality Productive Forces, a New Future for Agriculture, the 31st Yangling Agricultural High-Tech Expo kicked off in Yangling, Shaanxi, and will run for five days.
This morning, Pakistan, the honored guest nation for this year, hosted the inaugural ceremony for its pavilion. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was co-presided over by Shaanxi Vice Governor Dou Jingli and Pakistan’s ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi.
He Ling, Deputy Party Secretary and Executive Deputy Director of the Yangling Demonstration Zone; Ghulam Ali, Chairman of the Pakistan Agricultural Research Council; Wu Congcong, Secretary-General of the provincial government, who served as the event host; and Yao Hongjuan, Director-General of the Shaanxi Foreign Affairs Office, were among the other notable guests, according to China Economic Net (CEN).
When Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s group visited Yangling in June, Ambassador Hashmi said, “We had extensive discussions on opportunities for collaboration between Pakistan’s relevant agencies and the sectors in Yangling and Shaanxi Province.” Since then, everyone has put up a lot of effort to achieve these goals.
Our bilateral collaboration is further strengthened by our return to Yangling for the 31st Agricultural High-Tech Expo. Pakistan’s economy is based primarily on agriculture, which supports around 40% of all jobs in the country and contributes more than 20% of GDP.
Through this Expo, we hope to gain knowledge from Shaanxi Province and the Yangling Demonstration Zone in important technological domains, such as high-tech sector applications, high-yield seed culture, and agricultural innovation. He continued by saying that this platform gives us a priceless chance to interact with the renowned professionals in attendance.
The Pakistan Pavilion has established a special exhibit area highlighting Chinese businesses that have made significant strides in agricultural investment and development in Pakistan in an effort to promote fruitful interactions. Significant communication between business representatives, possible partners, and agricultural specialists is facilitated by this show.
