Islamabad, Dec 7: The Kingdom of Bahrain would import both skilled and unskilled laborers for the construction industry from the Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), a division of the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (OP&HRD).
According to an official source who spoke to APP, OEC is gathering documentation from interested applicants nationwide until December 18, 2024. He said that OEC already exports trained labor to over 40 nations worldwide. The following job openings, he said, are open to interested candidates: Laboratory Manager, with a minimum of 15 years of experience, including 5 years of relevant experience; BSc Engineering, B-Tech, Graduation, or DAE Civil.
The Laboratory Manager (LM) will oversee the laboratory’s personnel and operations. In addition to providing a safe working environment for all lab users, the LM is expected to supervise LS and provide safety oversight of daily lab and field operations. He will also oversee and manage field and lab personnel and ensure that corporate policies and procedures are followed.
A laboratory technician with at least a college degree in a science subject or three years of associate engineering diploma Laboratory technicians will need to test concrete, aggregate, soil, asphalt, blocks, and other materials.
