Islamabad, Sep 20: The SAFF U17 Championship 2024 final between Pakistan and Nepal will take place tomorrow at Changlimithang Stadium in Bhutan. With four points from their victories over Nepal and a draw against the Maldives, the Green Shirts led the group standings at the end of the group phase.
The Boys in Green finally won an international match when they defeated Nepal 1-0, snapping a 12-year losing streak.Shah Jahan scored a goal to tie the score at one and advance Pakistan to the semi-finals, but the second game finished in a stalemate.
The national team then put on an incredible show in the opening semifinal, defeating formidable Bhutan in a thrilling penalty shootout 6-5.The national squad is focused on defeating India, their fiercest opponent, and taking home the SAFF U19 Championship 2023 trophy in Nepal when they make their debut.
