Islamabad, Sep 7: Pakistani Club vs Afghanistan U-17 squad of Islamabad is preparing for an important three-match series that starts on October 5 versus Afghanistan U17.

The opening match between the two youth teams will take place at Ghazi Stadium in Kabul, and it looks to be a fierce international matchup.

With the second game set for October 7 in Kabul, the Afghan team will have home advantage for the first two games. The Popo U-17 team will likely be put to the test in these back-to-back games as they take on a competitive Afghan team at home.

With the home game scheduled for October 12 at Jinnah Stadium, Popo has an opportunity to win the crowd at home and end the series with a victory.

Twelve players from the Popo football club were recently chosen to be part of the Pakistan national under-17 team’s training camp for the SAFF Championship U-17 tournament, which gets underway on September 20.
