ISLAMABAD: March 11: A senior career diplomat, Ahsan Wagan, and serving Pakistan ambassador to Turkmenistan is denied entry into USA, at Los Angeles Airport. He had served at Los Angeles Consulate of Pakistan.

The authorities at that point prevented his entry to US and asked him to return to his final point of takeoff raising concerns about his travel visa class and the nature of his choice.

“Ambassador K K Wagan (Ahsan Wagan) was ousted from the US with an immigration objection which caused this expulsion”, a senior official of the Foreign Service conveyed this information on Monday.

Envoy Wagan, who had a valid American visa and all the basic travel documents, was traveling to Los Angeles for a personal visit, when he was halted by US migration officials upon entry.

His nature of decision with his class of visa found inconsistent by the entry officials and was asked to go back.

The US authorities then compelled Ambassador Wagan over “controversial visa reference”, which driven to his prompt expulsion.

It remains hazy what particular concerns have caused this reaction of the US officials.

Ambassador Wagan, known as, a senior diplomat with a reasonably large work experience serving the Government of Pakistan in services of diplomacy.

His services include key postings for the Government office of Pakistan in Kathmandu, Nepal, as second Secretary. He also served as Deputy Counsel General at Los Angeles Consulate from Pakistan, Head of Mission and Envoy in Muscat, Oman.

He also served as Head of Mission from Pakistan in Niamey, Niger. He also worked as Overseas Pakistanis, Consular Issues, and CEO of the Units of the Emergency at the Foreign Office, Islamabad.

Given the seriousness of the circumstances, the Envoy Wagan is likely to be asked to report back to Islamabad to clarify his position.

The case has is also conveyed to Pakistani senior officials at Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Secretary Foreign Office Aamna Baloch were briefed on the this matter, whereas the Pakistani Foreign Office was alerted the Los Angeles Consulate to examine the case.
