Islamabad, Apr 22, 2025: In a strategic move to uplift the engineering youth of the country, the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) has announced the establishment of the National Forum for Young Engineers.

This landmark initiative is a progressive step to empower fresh engineering graduates and early-career professionals through a unified and dynamic platform.

The decision was finalized during the latest session of PEC’s Governing Body, with a core objective to create a structured, inclusive, and nationwide network for emerging engineers.

The forum aims to serve as a collaborative body where young minds from diverse engineering fields can come together, exchange ideas, and voice their concerns at a national level.

To ensure broad participation, the PEC has invited youth engineering associations from all disciplines and regions to join the forum.

This will help form a cohesive, countrywide alliance dedicated to promoting innovation, problem-solving, and professional excellence among the younger generation.

This platform is expected to be instrumental in addressing the real-world challenges faced by young engineers.

Furthermore, the Chairman highlighted that this initiative would not only increase domestic opportunities but also enable young engineers to showcase their capabilities on international platforms.

By aligning with global trends and standards, the forum will boost Pakistan’s image in the global engineering community.

The launch of this forum represents a major milestone for the PEC and Pakistan’s engineering sector at large.

It marks the beginning of a new era where the youth will play an active and recognized role in the country’s technological and infrastructural development.

With this step, PEC reaffirms its dedication to bridging the gap between academic knowledge and professional application for a stronger, future-ready engineering workforce in Pakistan.
