Islamabad, Dec 27: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) has announced scheduled power outages across multiple areas in Peshawar and Mardan due to essential maintenance work. Consumers in these regions are being advised of the disruption in power supply, which will occur at different times throughout the end of December.
On December 30, power will be suspended from the Peshawar Grid Station between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM. During this period, residents and businesses served by the Sheikhan, Shahab Khel, Sirband, AWT, and Mashogagar feeders will experience interruptions. A similar shutdown is planned for December 31, also from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, affecting the Badbair and Balarzai feeders.
In addition, power supply will be interrupted from the Peshawar Fort Grid Station on both December 29 and December 31. The outages, which will last from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on both days, will impact consumers on the Dabgari feeder.
The Mardan Grid Station will also undergo maintenance on December 30, with a power shutdown from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM. This will disrupt service for consumers of the Shah Dand, Zando, Col Jawad Khan Shaheed, and Tawas feeders.
Similarly, Dargai Grid Station will experience maintenance work on December 30 from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM, affecting a wide range of feeders in the region. The areas impacted will include Mian Khan, Palai Express, Qasimi Express, Dargai New, Industrial 1, Skhakot 1, Kot, Agra, New Mian Khan, Plai, Hero Shah, Taj Wood Industries, Sher Steel Mill, Wazir Abad, Ali Steel, Malakandher Mill, New Kot, Kot Express, Taj Steel Mill 1, Taj Steel 2, Malakand, Pak Primer Steel, Ahtisham Steel, Khalij Steel, Diamond Casting Factory, and SIDB.
PESCO has advised consumers to take necessary precautions and plan accordingly during these periods of maintenance to minimize inconvenience.
