Islamabad, Nov 29: The prices of MS petrol and High-Speed Diesel (HSD) are set to rise starting December 1, 2024, due to fluctuations in international oil prices.
- Petrol Price: A hike of Rs. 3 per liter is expected, raising the price to Rs. 251-252 per liter.
- HSD Price: The price of High-Speed Diesel is expected to increase by Rs. 2.9 per liter, bringing it to Rs. 258-259 per liter.
In contrast, kerosene and light diesel oil prices are expected to remain unchanged.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) is scheduled to submit its final recommendations to the government by November 30, 2024.
Following consultations with the Prime Minister, a formal notification of the new rates will be issued.
The stable Pakistani rupee, maintaining a range of 277-278, has not significantly impacted the price hike.
