Islamabad, Oct 15: PIA Employee Vanishes in Canada

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has reported the disappearance of another flight attendant in Canada. Mohsin Raza, the crew member, was supposed to board an aircraft from Karachi on October 13 and was last seen in Toronto.

Raza, an Islamabad native, neglected to show up at the hotel in time for flight PK 784. He failed to report for duty, which caused his absence to be discovered.

More least a dozen PIA flight attendants are said to have vanished in Toronto during the course of the previous year. According to sources, the airline’s policy mandating that staff members provide their passports to Toronto police hasn’t had any success in reducing these incidences.

The airline has opened an investigation into the disappearance, a PIA representative revealed. The airline threatened severe disciplinary actions, possibly including loss of employment, if Mohsin Raza was proven guilty.

This event comes after a similar occurrence in June involving the disappearance of Noor Sher, a flight attendant who was one of the 16 members of the crew on flight PK 781 from Pakistan to Toronto.

There are rumors that the crew members who went missing might have requested refuge in Canada.
