Islamabad, Aug 26: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has stepped up efforts to enforce the prohibition on taking pictures and recording videos while in flight, especially during crucial moments like takeoff and landing.

The PIA has started routinely reminding passengers of the ban in response to the growing habit of passengers taking pictures and films while aboard. The airline highlights that this action complies with Pakistan’s aviation laws, which sternly prohibit taking pictures while in flight.

According to a PIA representative, the prohibition is intended to safeguard passengers’ privacy and avert any possible mishaps that can result from unapproved photography or videography. The official said, “This prohibition is in line with global aviation practices.”

As part of its commitment to provide a secure and comfortable travel experience for all customers, PIA is enforcing this rule. The airline hopes to reduce distractions and keep passengers’ attention on safety procedures by prohibiting unapproved photography during flights.

The airline sector is becoming more conscious of the value of protecting passenger privacy and strictly adhering to safety rules, as seen by PIA’s initiative.
