Islamabad, Feb 28: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced special fare discounts on select international routes, catering to the anticipated surge in travel as Pakistanis return home for Eid-ul-Fitr. The national carrier has introduced a 10% discount on flights from Toronto to Karachi and a 15% reduction on fares from Paris to Islamabad, providing relief to passengers traveling during the festive season.
The discounted fares aim to make travel more accessible for overseas Pakistanis planning to reunite with their families for Ramadan and Eid celebrations. According to PIA’s corporate wing, passengers flying from Toronto to Karachi can avail the offer until March 31, with ticket bookings open until March 10. Meanwhile, travelers on the Paris to Islamabad route can enjoy reduced fares from February 28 to March 16, with bookings available until March 2.
PIA has ensured that the discounted tickets are easily accessible, with purchases available both online and through designated booking offices. The move is part of the airline’s broader strategy to enhance customer experience and boost international travel by offering competitive pricing during peak seasons.
As Ramadan approaches, PIA’s initiative reflects its commitment to facilitating passengers, particularly those returning home for religious and familial gatherings. With the airline looking to strengthen its global connectivity and customer service, these fare reductions are expected to attract a significant number of travelers seeking affordable and convenient travel options.
