ISLAMABAD, AUGUST 3: In order to assist Umrah pilgrims, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has begun offering direct flights from Faisalabad to Jeddah. On this new route, the national carrier will operate two flights each week.

The first direct flight (PK 763) from Faisalabad to Jeddah said goodbye to 170 Umrah pilgrims, according to PIA’s Chief Commercial Officer Naushirwan Adil. He emphasized PIA’s commitment to improving passenger convenience throughout travel.

The additional flights from Jeddah will provide easy travel choices for Saudi Arabian workers. The Chief Commercial Officer went on to say that PIA’s direct flights to Jeddah had received support from the business sector in Faisalabad.

The flag carrier of the country will also begin operating direct flights from Quetta to Saudi Arabia. On August 6, 2024, Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail of Balochistan is scheduled to officially launch the flying operation, according per APP.
