Islamabad, Dec 22: A team from the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) visited the Business Facilitation Centre (BFC) and the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) on Sunday to continue their awareness campaign for the “Maryam Ki Dastak” app. The team was led by Project Directors Haroon Rasul and Syed Faizan Bukhari.
The purpose of the visit was to promote the “Maryam Ki Dastak” app among members of BFC and associated Chambers of Commerce and Industries. The team was warmly received by SCCI Vice President Omer Khalid, Convener of the SME Committee Faizan Akbar, and Convener of the Electronic and Social Media Committee Ejaz Ghauri.
During the briefing, Haroon Rasul commended the Punjab government’s efforts and emphasized the importance of further collaboration to support such innovative initiatives. He provided an overview of the app, explaining its objectives, scope, and the progress made so far. The initiative aims to facilitate doorstep delivery of various government services, making them more accessible and convenient for the public.
Rasul also highlighted the significance of continuous feedback to improve the app’s functionality and effectiveness. He stressed the need for ongoing engagement with users to enhance the impact of the program.
SCCI Vice President Omer Khalid, along with Faizan Akbar and Ejaz Ghauri, expressed their appreciation for the “Maryam Ki Dastak” program, calling it a landmark initiative. They assured full support from SCCI and pledged to keep their members informed about the program’s details through email, social media, and the SCCI monthly bulletin.
