Islamabad, Mar 6 2025: PM Approves Youth Training Programs Aligned with Market and Industry Demand on Thursday, giving the green light to a comprehensive strategy aimed at equipping young individuals with industry-relevant skills and vocational training.
During the briefing, officials outlined a four-year roadmap focused on enhancing job prospects for youth by providing specialized training through various institutions.
The Prime Minister’s Office emphasized that Shehbaz Sharif will personally oversee the progress of the plan by chairing monthly review meetings and closely monitoring its execution.

He stressed that the government remains committed to fostering employment and economic opportunities by empowering youth through skill-building initiatives and technical education.

PM Shehbaz Sharif further emphasized the importance of aligning workforce training with international standards to facilitate the global employment of Pakistani professionals.
The government is actively working on initiatives to enhance manpower exports by ensuring that young individuals receive world-class vocational training.
During the session, the Prime Minister instructed relevant authorities to establish continuous engagement with local industries to tailor training programs according to sector-specific needs.
He also directed officials to assess international labor market trends to ensure that training aligns with global demand.
To streamline this process, he ordered the development of a centralized database to catalog the skills required by both local and international industries.
Officials informed the meeting that over the next four years, the program aims to assist between 2.4 million and 6 million young individuals annually in securing employment by equipping them with essential vocational expertise.
The strategy takes into account the evolving needs of the job market, industrial requirements, and the demand for skilled manpower worldwide.
This platform will provide young professionals with access to training resources, career guidance, and employment opportunities.
The Prime Minister lauded the efforts of all ministries and institutions involved in executing the initiative. The session was attended by Federal Ministers Ahad Khan Cheema and Shaza Fatima Khawaja.
