Islamabad, Oct 1: PM Congratulates Abdelmadjid Tebboune on His Re-Election as President of Algeria on Tuesday for winning the presidency of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria again.
In his post on X (formerly Twitter), the PM Congratulates Abdelmadjid Tebboune and also Prime Minister expressed his excitement about continuing their strong collaboration to fortify Pakistan-Algeria relations across all areas of shared interest, including commerce and investment.
He emphasized the potential for enhancing cooperation in sectors such as trade, agriculture, and energy, and looked forward to working together on regional stability and development initiatives. According to media reports citing the nation’s electoral authority, ANIE, Tebboune secured nearly 95% of the votes to win reelection for a five-year term.
He triumphed decisively over his opponents, with Youcef Aouchiche receiving 2.16% of the votes and Abdelaali Hassani garnering 3.17%. This overwhelming support reflects the confidence the Algerian people have in Tebboune’s leadership and vision for the country.
Tebboune, who first assumed office in December 2019, has focused on economic reforms and infrastructure development during his previous term.
