Islamabad, Apr 20, 2025: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has conveyed his warm Easter wishes to the Christian community in Pakistan and across the globe, highlighting the importance of this special occasion as a reflection of the values taught by Hazrat Jesus (peace be upon him).
In his Easter Sunday message, Prime Minister Sharif described Easter as a powerful symbol of renewal, optimism, and the timeless ideals of selflessness, forgiveness, and peace.
PM Shehbaz paid tribute to the lasting legacy of Hazrat Jesus (AS), a prophet chosen by Allah, whose teachings of compassion, kindness, and love continue to inspire and guide people worldwide.
“Easter serves as a reminder of the profound teachings of Hazrat Jesus (AS), whose message of compassion, humility, and love remains a source of direction for all humanity,” said PM Sharif.
“The principles of peace, tolerance, and respect for human dignity are collective responsibilities that we all share, irrespective of our faiths.”
In his message, the Prime Minister also recognized the significant contributions of the Christian community to Pakistan’s growth, applauding their unwavering dedication, honesty, and commitment, which have been crucial to the nation’s development.
