Islamabad, Oct 30: PM Shehbaz Concludes Saudi Arabia Visit, Departs for Doha. In the second leg of his two-nation foreign visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif left here on Wednesday for Doha, where he will spend two days in an official capacity.
The prime minister was greeted by Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrehman bin Abdulaziz, the deputy governor of Riyadh Province, at King Khalid International Airport’s Royal Terminal. Senior Saudi officials including Ahmed Farooq, Pakistan’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, were also at the airport.
The prime minister spoke at the Future Investment Initiative (FII) 8th edition in Riyadh during the Saudi visit, highlighting Pakistan’s investment potential, his government’s reform agenda, and steps to promote trade and investment.
Federal ministers Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Aurangzeb, Abdul Aleem Khan, Dr. Musaddik Malik, Jam Kamal Khan, and Attaullah Tarar joined the prime minister. The prime minister will meet bilaterally with Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, the prime minister and minister of foreign affairs, and Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the amir of the state of Qatar, in Doha.
Additionally, on Thursday, Prime Minister Shehbaz will open the cultural display “Manzar: Art and Architecture in Pakistan from 1940 to present.” The exhibition will highlight the strong people-to-people ties between Qatar and Pakistan while showcasing Pakistan’s rich cultural and architectural legacy.
