ISLAMABAD, AUGUST 9: The largest-ever reform package in Pakistan has been approved by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in an effort to draw in foreign capital and boost the country’s economy.

As part of this project, the nation’s first digital registry of laws designed to draw in foreign investment will be established.

Shehbaz has pushed interested international parties to complete deals as soon as possible. He expressed gratitude to American development partnership organizations for their dedication to advancing the goals of the government’s economic reform program.

In order to guarantee the prompt execution of these reforms, the premier has formed a special committee to initiate reforms in crucial areas in the project’s initial phase. The most important laws and regulations must be integrated into the digital registry by December 2024, according to a deadline set by the prime minister.

A meeting was held to evaluate the project specifications and execution schedule with important stakeholders. It was verified that the digital registry would remove needless bureaucratic obstacles that have traditionally impeded business operations and combine all laws and regulations pertaining to investments.
