ISLAMABAD, JULY15: A heatwave is expected to hit Karachi on Tuesday and Wednesday (Muharram 9 and 10), according to the Met Office.Because of low pressure, there won’t be any sea breezes on July 16 and 17, which might result in extremely hot and muggy weather with temperatures perhaps reaching 39 degrees Celsius.

The districts of Sujawal and Thatta may experience temperatures as high as 41 degrees Celsius. The weather in other regions of Sindh will likewise be hot and muggy.Thunderstorms and rain are expected in Tharparkar, Mirpur Khas, and Sanghar. On July 16, there may be some drizzle in Karachi. Monsoon currents are predicted to arrive in the city starting on July 18, possibly resulting in significant rain on July 19 and 20.

In other news,Climate Action in Karachi, Murtaza Wahab, the mayor of Karachi, promised on Sunday to stop the city from flooding in the future. Speaking to the media, Wahab said that more water is being delivered into Karachi from Hub Dam for the first time in 20 years. He announced plans to restore the city’s bus services and chastised former mayor Waseem Akhtar for stopping them.
