Islamabad, Nov 27: PPAF Provides Interest-Free Loans to Support Over 25,000 Families. Through the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF), the government gave interest-free loans to more than 25,000 people in October 2024 as part of its efforts to improve impoverished neighborhoods.

Under the project, which was carried out in cooperation with partner organizations, ultra-poor households nationwide have received loans totaling 1.2 billion rupees.An official source claims that the program’s objectives are to empower economically disadvantaged groups in society, improve financial inclusion, and establish sustainable lives.

Beneficiaries’ financial circumstances should improve as a result of this endeavor since it will allow them to become self-sufficient, maintain their families, and earn higher wages.The government is unwavering in its resolve to combat poverty and advance financial stability across the country.

One of the main elements of the National Poverty Graduation Initiative, which is funded by the Pakistani government, is the Interest Free Loan Program. Through the loan centers, the program that supports PPAF’s overarching strategy for poverty graduation offers interest-free loans to the target demographic.

The program is being carried out in over 100 districts throughout three regions Islamabad Capital Territory, Gilgit Baltistan, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir as well as in the provinces of Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
