Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif conveyed warm greetings to Buddhists worldwide as they celebrate the Vesak festival today. Vesak, observed on the Day of the Full Moon in May, holds significant spiritual importance for millions of Buddhists globally. It commemorates the birth, enlightenment, and passing away of Buddha over two millennia ago.
“May this auspicious occasion bring peace, prosperity, and harmony to all. Let us honor our common heritage and strive for mutual respect and understanding,” the Prime Minister shared on his social media timeline.
