In a stock filing on Friday, the company explained that the shutdown is necessary to carry out essential maintenance work. The timing of the shutdown coincides with a period of low demand for petroleum products, which PRL believes will allow for efficient operations during the upcoming harvesting season. The company aims to ensure the sustainability and smooth functioning of its operations following the completion of the maintenance work.
