Islamabad, Mar 20, 2025: Cricket South Africa (CSA) has revealed the much-awaited schedule for the Proteas men’s and women’s senior teams for the 2025/26 home season.
The schedule features key series against the West Indies, Ireland, and Pakistan. Both teams will focus on the T20 format as they prepare for the ICC Men’s and Women’s T20 World Cups scheduled for 2026.
Both the Proteas men’s and women’s teams, having finished as runners-up in the previous T20 World Cup, are setting their sights on the upcoming global competition.
CSA also confirmed that both teams will participate in a range of T20I and ODI series as part of their preparations.
For the Proteas men’s team, the series against the West Indies will kick off on January 27, 2026.
The five-match T20I series will be held across five different venues: Boland Park, Newlands Cricket Ground, Buffalo Park, SuperSport Park, and DP World Wanderers Stadium, concluding on February 6, 2026.
The Proteas women will host Ireland for a T20I and ODI series in December 2025, with matches at Newlands, Boland Park, Willowmoore Park, Buffalo Park, St George’s Park, and DP World Wanderers Stadium.
In February 2026, the South African women’s team will play Pakistan in a T20I and ODI series at JB Marks Oval, Willowmoore Park, Kimberley Oval, Mangaung Oval, SuperSport Park, and Kingsmead Stadium.
These fixtures provide crucial opportunities for both the men’s and women’s teams to fine-tune their skills and strategies ahead of the 2026 ICC T20 World Cups.
