Islamabad, Dec 9: According to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Cybersecurity Awareness Week 2024 will begin on December 9 and run until December 15.
With an emphasis on online security, data privacy, and the legal ramifications of cybercrimes under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016, this week-long campaign seeks to increase consumer and individual understanding of digital safety.
To give people and enterprises the knowledge they need to defend themselves against new cyber threats, the telecom regulator will hold expert conversations. By following its social media accounts and sharing and reposting its content, PTA has encouraged individuals, companies, and educational institutions to become involved and improve Pakistan’s cybersecurity environment.
