Islamabad, Dec 2: A updated list of 2,226 teacher openings has been sent to the provincial government by the Punjab Education Department for direct hiring throughout the province. The goal of this action is to alleviate the teacher shortage at the department’s overseen schools.
The Director of Administration for the Directorate of Public Instruction (SE), Lahore, emphasized the updated list of open vacancies in a formal letter to the School Education Department.
The update takes into account the present staffing needs in Punjabi schools. There are 302 openings for headmistresses and 225 openings for headmasters (Grade 17). In Grade 17, there are also 586 vacancies for female topic specialists and 521 vacancies for male subject specialists. According to the list, there are 289 openings for men and 303 for women among senior topic specialists (Grade 18).
The government was requested in the letter to examine the updated list and start the hiring process right away. By guaranteeing that public schools have a sufficient number of teachers, the department is working to raise the standard of education.
