Islamabad, Aug 23: A significant scholarship programme worth Rs25 billion has been unveiled by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz with the goal of assisting worthy students in continuing their study at some of the nation’s best universities, such as GIK and LUMS.
With the help of this effort from the Punjab government, these kids would have their tuition totally covered and be free to concentrate on their studies without having to worry about money. The program will not only pay for tuition but will also give special prizes and distinctions to pupils who perform very well in school.

Maryam Nawaz emphasized during the launch the value of giving male and female students equal chances, stressing that all gifted kids, regardless of background, should have the opportunity to succeed.She commended the diligence and accomplishments of students throughout Punjab and emphasized the government’s resolve to enact meaningful reforms in the field of education.Among the new projects she unveiled were the introduction of electric bikes to facilitate student movement and a school food program to guarantee that children receive adequate nourishment while in school. Additionally, a unique scholarship designed just for FSC students will be available to support their further education.

Additionally, Maryam Nawaz announced plans to open Pakistan’s first artificial intelligence (AI)-focused institution in the Nawaz Sharif IT City, which is a big step toward upgrading the nation’s technological and educational landscape.

Apart from her educational endeavors, Maryam Nawaz also made time to visit Rajanpur’s flood-affected areas, where she spoke with locals and evaluated the damage.
