Islamabad, Dec 8: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has embarked on an eight-day official visit to China, accompanied by a high-level delegation. From December 8 to 15, she will visit Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou.
Maryam Nawaz is the first Pakistani woman Chief Minister to undertake an official visit to China. Her delegation includes Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Uzma Bukhari, Bilal Akbar, and Agriculture Minister Ashiq Karmani.
The visit was organized following an invitation from the Communist Party of China. During her trip, Maryam Nawaz is scheduled to meet with Chinese ministers, senior officials, and experts.
The aim of these meetings, events, and conferences is to strengthen bilateral relations and explore opportunities for collaboration in governance, agriculture, technology, and infrastructure development.
She departed from Lahore’s Jati Umrah to the Old Airport to begin this historic visit.
