The Ombudsperson’s office has purchased costly devices for its officials, including five Samsung S24 Ultra phones and an iPhone 15 Pro Max, casting doubt on the Punjab government’s claims of austerity.

The invoice indicates that the cost of each Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max is Rs. 613,084.47 and the cost of each Samsung S24 Ultra is Rs. 444,734.00.
