ISLAMABAD, AUGUST 7: Students may now get gasoline and electric motorcycles from the Punjab government as part of the Chief Minister Youth Initiative. The goal of this initiative is to improve student mobility and ease everyday transportation issues.

The program, which is led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, provides students with affordable and practical transportation choices.
Although these bikes are not free for students, the government has made sure that bike payment plans are available to all students.

CM Maryam Nawaz emphasized the government’s commitment to helping students, pointing out that giving them motorcycles will make their trips easier and let them to save money and time.

According to CM Maryam Nawaz, “this project will ensure savings in their daily lives and create convenience for students.” “Academic performance will be enhanced by the convenience of travel and time savings.”
The approach is more inclusive because it no longer requires parental assurances, supporting students without such assistance.

In addition, the Chief Minister declared that Punjab would transition to electric vehicles and that solar-powered charging stations will be installed all around the province.

To guarantee that students have a dependable and environmentally friendly form of transportation, the government will offer electric bike warranties and battery insurance.
In addition, all bike receivers will be required to wear helmets and other gear in order to guarantee road safety.
