Islamabad, Sep 2: All driving license services throughout Punjab, including Lahore, have been suspended due to a serious problem that has arisen with the Driving License Issuance Management System.
International driving permits, renewals, new licenses, and learner’s permits have all been impacted by the problem.
According to CTO Ammara Athar, the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) team is actively working on resolving the technical difficulties that are causing the problem.
Processing of driver’s licenses has been completely stopped while the system receives the necessary updates and improvements.
Due to this disturbance, people who want to apply for a new or international driver’s license, renew their current license, or get a learner’s permit may have delays. The public was reassured by the CTO that steps are being taken to resolve the technical issues and quickly return to regular operations.
