Islamabad, Dec 5: To make the procedure of registering cars and obtaining desired license plates easier, the Punjab government has introduced a cutting-edge e-auction system. Through a specialized mobile app and web platform, this new effort enables users to register automobiles and take part in online auctions for the number plates they want.
The e-auction program registration is now open and will stay open until December 31, 2024, giving people plenty of time to choose and bid on the vehicle numbers they want.
The program, which was created by the Punjab Excise and Taxation Department in partnership with the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), offers a quick and easy way to track license plates for cars and motorcycles.
PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf highlighted the system’s ease of use and simplicity. He clarified that people can easily submit bids for vehicle numbers online and that the e-auction platform guarantees a simple registration process. By streamlining the bidding process and improving user experience, this effort hopes to increase accessibility for citizens.
The Punjab Government’s dedication to updating services and giving citizens a more effective means of handling car registrations and number plate purchases is demonstrated by the introduction of this digital solution.
