In Lahore, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has anticipated rain in various cities of Punjab from May 28 to June 1.

The PDMA spokesperson has indicated the likelihood of heavy rain, dusty winds, and thundershowers in several districts of Punjab during this period. These conditions are expected in Rawalpindi, Murree, Guliyat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujarat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Khushab, Sargodha, Mianwali, Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, and Jhang.

Authorities have advised district administrations across Punjab to remain vigilant and informed about the weather situation.

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has forecasted rain in the upper regions of the country until July 1. Cloudy weather and westerly winds are expected to affect these areas, with thundershowers anticipated in Balochistan between May 28 and 29. Additionally, rains accompanied by gusty winds are predicted in most parts of Punjab, including Islamabad and Murree, until June 1.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, rain with thunder is expected in certain areas from today until June 1, while Gilgit-Baltistan may experience wind, hail, and rain. These weather conditions are likely to lead to a decrease in temperature, although a heatwave is expected to persist in the southern regions.

Despite these forecasts, Lahore is currently experiencing sunny weather, with temperatures expected to range from a minimum of 28 degrees Celsius to a maximum of 44 degrees Celsius. Humidity levels in the city are recorded at 29 percent, with a wind speed of 10 km per hour, according to meteorological data.
