The Punjab government has opted to remove the ban on teacher transfers amid summer vacations. As per an official announcement, the Punjab School Education Department has directed all 36 district school administrations to rectify and update teachers’ information. This task is scheduled from June 4 to June 6, with 12 districts assigned daily to update the data in the school information system. Notably, Lahore will conclude its data correction on June 4.
A communication has been dispatched by the Punjab School Education Department to all district education officers, outlining the procedures and timetable for this data rectification process. This endeavor is geared towards ensuring precise and current records, contributing to the seamless transfer of teachers during the summer recess.
