According to Additional AG Payroll, Faiqa Khurshid, OLBS has been successfully launched in 170 government departments across Punjab.

Among the early adopters in Lahore are the Home Department, Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD), Finance Department, DIG Operations, and the IG Office.

These departments have already begun using the new digital platform to handle payrolls and billing more efficiently.

The inaugural training session under the Sahal program recently concluded in Lahore and was held at the AG Office.

The session was conducted under the direct supervision of Additional AG Payroll Faiqa Khurshid and led by Deputy AG Aqsa Lodhi.

The aim of the training was to ensure that relevant staff could adapt smoothly to the system and harness its full capabilities.

In the second phase, the reach of the Online Billing Solution will be expanded to cover the remaining districts of Punjab.

AG Punjab Nomana Gulrukh Farid has issued directives to expedite the digitization drive, emphasizing that automation is key to improving transparency in public sector financial dealings. Under her guidance, the OLBS rollout is being prioritized across all administrative units.

The Online Billing Solution is expected to significantly enhance the accuracy, speed, and accountability of financial processes in government institutions.

It eliminates the need for manual paperwork, reduces the chances of human error, and curbs unnecessary delays in billing cycles.

With the successful implementation of the Sahal initiative, Punjab sets a promising example of how technology can be integrated into governance.

This proactive approach not only ensures better public service delivery but also builds trust among citizens in the transparency and efficiency of government operations.
