Islamabad, Sep 18: Rawalpindi reports 30 new dengue cases in 24 hours the total number of dengue patients has reached 368.

The District Health Authority’s latest report indicates that Pothohar Town and Municipal Corporation areas reported the highest number of cases, each with 11 new positive Dengue Cases in Rawalpindi.

Chak Jalal Din remains one of the most affected areas. The CM Mobile Health Unit has conducted several tests, including CBC, LFTs, and RFTs, and examined 216 patients in the area.

The report highlights that 65% of the dengue cases are men, showing a male-to-female ratio of 2:1. Since January 2024, financial penalties totaling Rs. 13 million have been imposed for SOP violations, with enforcement actions this year being four times greater than in 2023. The average number of confirmed cases has also decreased compared to the previous year.
