ISLAMABAD, AUGUST 10: The governor of Sindh, Mohammed Kamran Khan Tessori, revealed that the forthcoming Independence Day celebration will feature performances by well-known singers, including Atif Aslam.
He emphasized that Pakistan would commemorate Independence Day on August 14 with great fervor during a news conference. According to Tessori, 100,000 people will sing the national anthem during the historic event as a show of their patriotism. He claims that 500,000 people are anticipated to attend the Independence Day event, and stage preparations will shortly start.
He urged the citizens of Karachi to participate in the Independence Day celebrations, calling the occasion a unique gift for the city’s citizens.
Tessori commended Arshad Nadeem for winning gold at the present Olympics in Paris and making the nation proud. He referred to Nadeem as a national hero who is being warmly welcomed and inspired.
The governor had already declared Nadeem the recipient of a Rs. 2 million reward. In addition, the government of Sindh declared a reward of Rs. 50 million for him.
