Islamabad, Aug 23: The district administration has begun the registration process for the low-income families’ “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” housing project, which was introduced by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
Tehsil-level registration centers are located in the assistant commissioners’ offices, whereas district-level registration centers are situated in the Lodhran office of the deputy commissioner. The chief minister has also introduced an online registration and information portal for the project. The assistant commissioners’ offices in Dunyapur, Lodhran, and Kahror Pacca tehsils, as well as the registration centers at the DC office in Lodhran, provided information and allowed people to register for the project.Furthermore, Lodhran residents had the option to apply online at acag.punjab.gov.pk.

The project’s requirements stated that the applicant had to be the only owner of up to five marla of land in urban areas or up to ten marla in rural areas, the head of the family according to NADRA records, and a permanent resident in Punjab according to CNIC. The candidate cannot have a history of criminal activity. The candidate should also have no outstanding debts to any banks or organizations. In addition to having a PMT score of less than 60, the household needs to be registered with NSER.
