As costs continue to escalate, numerous devoted pilgrims are finding it difficult to afford this sacred pilgrimage.

Many people who had diligently saved for Umrah are now discovering that the financial requirements have surpassed their expectations.

Not long ago, travel packages were considerably more affordable, but now they have skyrocketed beyond Rs. 350,000, making it nearly impossible for many to proceed with their plans.

Travel operators have also noted a substantial decline in reservations, as a significant number of individuals are unable to cope with the rising expenses.

Industry experts estimate that Umrah bookings have plummeted by approximately 50% due to inflationary pressures.

In response, travel agencies and religious groups are calling on the authorities to introduce supportive measures that could alleviate the financial strain on aspiring pilgrims.
