Islamabad, Oct 29: Rizwan and Agha Australia Series Assuring Naqvi of a Strong Performance in Upcoming Matches

Mohsin Naqvi, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), met with Muhammad Rizwan, the recently named captain of the white ball side, and Salman Ali Agha, the vice captain.

As the team gets ready for the series against Australia and Zimbabwe, Naqvi sent the two players his best wishes and expressed faith in their ability to lead.

“The nation expects good performance from the team under your leadership,” Naqvi said, underscoring the high standards set for them and the honor of captaining the national team.

He emphasized the Pakistani players’ skill and professionalism and exhorted them to play together and fight until the very end because doing so would be crucial to their success.

During the tour, Rizwan and Agha thanked Naqvi for his assistance and reaffirmed their commitment to live up to the aspirations of the country. “We will try hard to meet the expectations of the nation,” Rizwan said.

Salman Naseer, PCB Chief Operating Officer, attended the meeting as well.
