Islamabad, 15 April 2025: Sahibzada Farhan etched his name in the record books with a remarkable century against Peshawar Zalmi in the ongoing PSL Season 10.

The 28-year-old right-hander scored an electrifying 106 off just 52 balls, featuring 13 fours and five sixes in the fifth game of 10th edition.

This innings not only marked his first century in PSL but also made him the first Pakistani batter to score four T20 centuries in a calendar year — a feat achieved in only nine innings.

Farhan became only the fifth player in global cricket history to record four T20 hundreds in a single year, joining an elite group that includes Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli, Jos Buttler, and Shubman Gill.

The high-class performance from the star batter powered defending champions Islamabad United to a dominant total of 244 runs in their 20 overs.

The innings began with an early setback when Andries Gous was run out following sharp fielding by Tom Kohler-Cadmore.

However, Farhan and Colin Munro revived the innings with a 144-run partnership off 72 balls, laying a solid foundation.

Farhan was the standout performer, while Munro played a supporting role with 40 runs from 27 balls.

Both were dismissed in the 13th over, briefly raising Zalmi’s hopes of limiting the total. However, Islamabad’s middle order ensured a strong finish.
