Islamabad, Aug 29: For months, rumors have been circulating regarding a redesign of Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra’s design. The main focus of these rumors has been on a more ergonomic form factor.

The most recent rumor indicates that portability won’t be sacrificed in Samsung’s quest of a pleasant grip. Should the rumors be accurate, the S25 Ultra is expected to be extremely light and thin. According to leaked information, the S25 Ultra is expected to surpass the weight and slimness of both Google’s Pixel 9 Pro XL and the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Although the Pixel 9 Pro XL offers a helpful baseline, the official dimensions of Apple’s forthcoming flagship are still unknown until its September 9th launch. It weighs 221 grams and has a thickness of 8.5 mm. By comparison, the Galaxy S24 Ultra of the current generation weights a somewhat heavier 232g and is 8.6mm thick.

Based on these numbers, industry observers anticipate the Galaxy S25 Ultra to weigh no more than 220g and have a maximum thickness of 8. 4mm.

According to well-known Chinese leaker Ice Universe, the S25 Ultra will outperform all future “Ultra” flagship phones, not just the iPhone 16 Pro Max and Pixel 9 Pro XL in terms of thinness and weight. Although he makes no mention of any particular phones, we may infer he is referring to Ultra phones from other OEMs, including the Vivo X200 Ultra, Xiaomi 15 Ultra, and Oppo Find X8 Ultra, all of which are expected to launch in the near future.

Should these speculations turn out to be true, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be a noteworthy accomplishment in smartphone design, cramming premium functionality into an incredibly thin and light body.
