Islamabad, April 09: Sazgar Engineering Works Limited posted strong year-on-year growth in both its three wheeler and four wheeler vehicle  segments for March 2025, according to data released. 

Year on year growth was very good, for three wheelers, it was 74% and 95% up production and sale respectively. While for 4-wheelrs, the growth was 159% and 153% up production and sale respectively.

Three Wheelers:

  • Production stood at 1,870 units, up 21% YoY from 1,551 units in March 2024, but down 20% MoM compared to February 2025.

  • Sales surged to 1,970 units, marking a 47% YoY increase and a 26% MoM decline.

  • Cumulative production for the first 9 months of FY25 reached 19,638 units, a 74% increase over the 11,265 units in 9MFY24.

  • Sales also saw a sharp rise to 19,528 units, up 95% from 10,022 units during the same period last year.

Four Wheelers:

  • Production climbed to 870 units, representing a 64% YoY increase, although slightly down by 4% MoM.

  • Sales for March reached 943 units, up a significant 87% YoY and 7% MoM.

  • For 9MFY25, production rose to 8,313 units, a remarkable 159% jump compared to 3,205 units in 9MFY24.

  • Corresponding sales for the same period hit 8,027 units, up 153% from 3,172 units last year.

Historical Sales Trend:

The bar chart in the report reflects a steady upward trend in sales for both segments over the past fiscal year.

The most significant surges were seen in December 2024 and January 2025, where total unit sales peaked above 4,000 combined.
