The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has issued a notification announcing new timings for all educational institutions under its jurisdiction, effective from May 20, 2024, until further notice, in response to the forecasted heatwave.
Single-Shift Institutions:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am to 1:00 pm
- Friday: 7:30 am to 12:00 pm
Double-Shift Institutions:
- Morning Shift:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am to 12:30 pm
- Friday: 7:30 am to 12:00 pm
- Evening Shift:
- Monday to Thursday: 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm
- Friday: 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Pre-I (Montessori / Prep):
- Monday to Friday: 7:30 am to 11:30 am
Ex-FG Colleges:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am to 1:00 pm / 4:00 pm
- Friday: 7:30 am to 12:00 pm
These changes have been implemented to mitigate the effects of the anticipated heatwave in the coming week.
